OB TITLE: QA/QC- Electrical    SUMMARY: Quality Control inspection and associated documentation of Electrical systems within a cleanroom environment.    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  Coordinate compliance of federal, state, and local codes and regulations.  Interface with client- be the eyes and ears of the electrical construction work be completed in multiple buildings Capable of mitigating roadblocks to construction progress via design review Responsible for inspecting all electrical system installations including but not limited to: high voltage, medium voltage, low voltage, LSS, I&C, power distribution, etc.   Reports of all inspections must be uploaded to the project EIDA electronic documentation system.   Responsible for verifying that all inspectors under the subcontractors for this project are qualified to perform the inspections they are tasked with in accordance with the project specifications.   Participation in turnover package documentation.  Represent MSR-FSR in project meetings and attend strategy meetings.  Formulate reports concerning areas such as work progress, costs, scheduling, inspections, and system tests.   Complete all QA documentation as needed for the project   Requirements Requirements:  5-10 years verifiable electrical experience within a construction field   Journeyman Electrician or Master Electrician required Knowledge of relevant codes and standards (IEEE, NEMA, NFPA, NETA)  Computer skills required: MS Office, Bluebeam, PowerPoint    COMPETENCIES:  Adaptability - Adapts to changes in the work environment; Manages competing demands; Changes approach or method to best fit the situation; Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.  Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time; Ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent; Arrives at meetings and appointments on time.  Dependability - Follows instructions, responds to management direction; Takes responsibility for own actions; Keeps commitments; Commits to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals; Completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate person with an alternate plan.  Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem solving situations; Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.  Professionalism - Approaches others in a tactful manner; Reacts well under pressure; Treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position; Accepts responsibility for own actions; Follows through on commitments.  Quality - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; Looks for ways to improve and promote quality; Applies feedback to improve performance; Monitors own work to ensure quality.  Quantity - Meets productivity standards; Completes work in timely manner; Strives to increase productivity; Works quickly.  Safety and Security - Observes safety and security procedures; Determines appropriate action beyond guidelines; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and materials properly.
