What we’re looking for
We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our Enterprise Admin engineering team in India. The Enterprise Admin team develops the enterprise-grade administration services used by the largest customers at SurveyMonkey, such as advanced user and team management features, asset library management, role based access control, survey branding, and user reporting. As the leader of this team, you’ll work closely with various stakeholders both within India and overseas, across platform and core survey teams within SurveyMonkey.
What you’ll be working on
- Lead a team of experienced developers and QA engineers to design, build, and scale Enterprise Admin features
- Own the technical aspects of Enterprise services in cross-team initiatives, including software architecture, development, and delivery
- Work closely with UX designers, product managers and development teams across the company
- Responsible for service and uptime SLAs that are critical to our enterprise customers
- Facilitate career growth for your team members through coaching, frequent feedback and providing opportunities to develop their strengths and acquire new skills
We’d love to hear from people with
- 2+ years of experience managing successful and high performing teams, including mentoring engineers, providing technical guidance, and fostering a positive team culture
- 10+ years of professional software development experience, preferably including Python and/or JavaScript
- Experience leading and shipping large-scale customer-facing web applications, especially in the areas of authentication and user management
- Ability to present technical information to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong decision-making skills with the ability to make sound judgments in complex and dynamic situations. This includes prioritizing tasks, resolving conflicts, and mitigating risks
- Ability to work with both co-located and remote engineers and cross-functional partners
- Experience working in an Agile environment

As such, this opportunity is hybrid and requires you to work from the SurveyMonkey office in Bengaluru 3 days per week.
