This Enterprise Sales Engineer role combines pre-sales engineering with trusted advisory throughout the customer lifecycle, helping enterprise organizations modernize their infrastructure operations through cloud transformation, automation, and integrated DDI solutions. What You'll Do • Advise customers on infrastructure modernization and lead consultative discovery sessions on cloud transformation, automation, and resiliency • Design integrated DDI solutions leveraging BlueCat alongside cloud, security, and orchestration platforms for hybrid and multi-cloud environments • Deliver proof-of-value engagements, technical workshops, executive presentations, and architecture reviews demonstrating automation outcomes and infrastructure resiliency • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Professional Services teams to shape product direction and drive customer expansion opportunities • Guide operational best practices for DNS, DHCP, IPAM, security, and orchestration while aligning technical recommendations to customer business priorities What You Need • 3+ years of experience in sales engineering, infrastructure/network engineering, technical consulting, or customer-facing architecture roles • Strong understanding of DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management (DDI) platforms with enterprise networking and network infrastructure operations experience • Experience with hybrid and multi-cloud environments, API-driven infrastructure, Infrastructure-as-Code, and orchestration technologies • Linux/UNIX platforms and systems administration knowledge with scripting, automation, and systems integration capabilities • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience; strong consultative and executive communication skills Nice to Have • Network security and operational resiliency strategies expertise • Virtualization and cloud-native technologies experience • Proven track record of identifying and managing expansion opportunities across broader platform portfolios
