Description
Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Equipment Control Executive to join our client's team. You will be responsible for managing Demurrage and Detention (D&D) reconciliation, monitoring container utilization, maintaining accurate system records, and supporting data reporting and cost optimization to ensure efficient equipment operations. Key Responsibilities Perform reconciliation of Demurrage & Detention (D&D) charges to ensure billing accuracy. Monitor and reduce long-stay empty containers to optimize asset utilization. Correct and maintain accurate container movement records in OPUS. Assist in verifying depot invoices for accuracy and compliance. Support Equipment Control (EQC) workflows for effective tracking and utilization of container assets. Extract, reconcile, and visualize operational data for reporting and analysis. Carry out ad-hoc operational tasks to support daily business needs. Identify cost-saving opportunities through strong analytical insights. Assist in any other assigned ad-hoc duties. Requirements At least Diploma in Maritime Studies / Shipping-related disciplines or a related field. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role preferred. Knowledge of Institute of International Container Lessors (IICL) standards, cargo-worthy inspection, and repair estimation; IICL certification is an advantage. Highly organized with strong time management skills, able to prioritise and handle multiple tasks and deadlines Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of making sound operational decisions Proficient in MS Office skills as well as Google Suite applications.
