Description
[What the role is] The Productivity and Standards Department spearheads efforts to uplift the standards and productivity of the environmental services (ES) industry. In doing so, PSD aims to transform the industry to one that vibrant, sustainable and world class in providing reliable and professional services to ensure a clean and sustainable environment for Singapore. PSD works with the industry, government agencies, and other partner stakeholders on the implementation of productivity enhancement programmes for the ES industry. The Environmental Services Productivity Solutions Grant (ES PSG), a funding support scheme, was launched in 2018 to support the ES Industry in enhancing their processes and improving operational efficiency through adoption of productive solutions. [What you will be working on] You will be responsible for the following: • Administer Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG) for the ES industry • Evaluate and process the PSG applications/claims in accordance to the Standard Operating Procedure • Liaise with the applicants/claimants for information and supporting documents for processing • Conduct due-diligence checks on the claim submission for disbursement of fund • Review appeals and feedback for management’s consideration • Conduct due diligence and verification on the disbursement of fund • Lead in various projects/initiatives to facilitate grant processing and uphold grant governance • Work closely with team members to resolve operational and technical issues [What we are looking for] Requirements: • Degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Economics or Social Sciences with at least 3 years of relevant working experience • Proficient in Microsoft Office • Meticulous, with an eye for detail • Ability to work independently • A good team player with strong interpersonal communication skills • Mature and resourceful As part of the shortlisting process for this role, you may be required to complete a medical declaration and/or undergo further assessment.
