Our collaborative Internal Audit team helps clients to improve business processes and control measures so that executives are confident key risks are being managed and decision making can occur with speed and precision. The Role In this role, you will create value by: • Leading and conducting internal audit engagements, working with public purpose clients, addressing, operational, strategic, compliance and financial risks. • Developing strategic internal audit plans, leading or performing the fieldwork including internal controls testing and preparing reports. • Being responsible for working on multiple client engagement teams within the practice. • Being part of a larger national team as well as a dynamic local team, specialising in internal audit as well as governance, risk and compliance. This will include working across different sectors and providing guidance and coaching to junior team members, fostering a collaborative team environment. • Developing strong client relationships and collaborating with several stakeholders to understand business processes and controls, identify areas of risk as well as opportunities to mitigate risks, improve process efficiency and effectiveness. • Taking ownership and accountability to deliver, leveraging the broader team as required to ensure success. • Contributing to the development of Scyne Advisory’s service offerings and internal tools within the wider Finance, Risk and Cyber business. • Leveraging your advisory skills set to deliver high quality outcomes to clients, through a combination of hands-on delivery, and regular technical leadership and coaching to more junior members of the team. • Reporting and presenting to senior business stakeholders
