Description
At Circus, headquartered in Munich with an office in Hamburg, we are pioneering global developments in on-demand autonomous food production. Everything from creation to production and operation – enabled by seamlessly integrated cutting-edge robotics and transformative AI technology. Our foundation rests in the extensive developments of groundbreaking robotics driven by artificial intelligence, previously the missing link in achieving true autonomous food automation. This is the moment for a new status quo: Just as autonomous driving will disrupt how we build cities, organize our days, and live our lives, so will we shift our whole reality around food. Our Team is backing a paradigm shift in one of humanity's most important sectors with the sharpest minds in Robotics, AI, Engineering and Culinary, collaborating closely with industry-leading partners to revolutionize every aspect of the food service experience. Join us as we forge ahead, crafting a future where the art of cooking and the science of technology converge to create a world that thinks differently about food than it has for thousands of years—a world where food means something new. As we scale our deployments, we are looking for an Operator to take ownership of our customer sites on the ground. You'll run day-to-day operations at client locations, keep the CA-1 performing to standard, and make sure the client's own team knows exactly how to work with the system. This role isn't tied to one site: you go where we deploy, supporting launches and ongoing operations across our growing customer base. You're just as comfortable being hands-on with the kitchen as you are coaching a client's staff through their daily routines. Own day-to-day operations at customer deployment sites, keeping production, quality, and hygiene standards on point Support new deployments from setup through go-live, working alongside the launch team Train client staff on daily operations, handling, and routines so they can confidently run the system themselves Act as the main point of contact for the client on-site, running a reliable, well-organized operation Troubleshoot first-line technical or operational issues, escalating to remote support when needed Manage restocking, consumables, and opening/closing routines to standard Travel between customer sites as needed, adapting quickly to each new environment Feed recurring issues or training gaps back to the team to improve future deployments Experience in food service, hospitality, or retail operations Willingness and ability to travel regularly between customer sites across the region Confident training and coaching others, with the patience to explain a process clearly Comfortable working with technology and following structured processes Strong ownership and reliability, especially when working solo on-site Fluent German and English Valid driver's license Food safety certification (e.g., HACCP) Prior experience in a launch, rollout, or training-focused operations role Interest in robotics or new technology Competitive Compensation: Competitive compensation package with stock options for full-time employees. Work-Life Balance: Regular team events, hybrid work setup, 2 months/year remote work (Worcation), unlimited vacation days, and a corporate pension plan. Personal Development: Personal budget for training, in-house trainings, and growth opportunities in a fast-paced environment. Mobility: Monthly budget for mobility or other expenses, and a subsidized Dance Mobility Subscription for E-Bike/E-Moped. Well-Being: Discounted Urban Sports Club membership and Wellhub for a variety of well-being offerings.
