We are hiring 2 x Fitters who will be responsible for executing assembly, installation, maintenance, adjustment, and functional control operations on mechanical systems and structural sub-assemblies on-site for mostly Categories 4 (mechanical retrofit projects) and 5 (MRO services) service works.
The Fitter will be required to travel to various sites as required so you will need to be flexible to travel.
Key Responsibilities
• Execute assembly, installation, maintenance, adjustment, and functional control operations on mechanical and structural assemblies.
• Inspect mechanical parts and equipment, replace defective components, and verify the conformity of assembled elements.
• Support the service team in addressing mechanical issues (e.g., filter cleaning, pump dismount, equipment cleaning).
• Report any variations, issues, or deviations to the Service Manager.
• Ensure strict adherence to QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) standards, internal policies, and external regulations.
• 5+ years in mechanical assembly, maintenance, or repair roles within an industrial environment; knowledge of welding is an advantage.
• Vocational education in Industrial Mechanics or equivalent significant experience; relevant local safety certifications.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with QHSE legal and management system requirements.
• Possession of relevant local safety certifications
• Fluent in the local language, good command of English, another language is a plus.
