Description
Working within one of Merchants Fleet’s fastest-growing programs, the FleetShare Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the future of the commercial rapid rental industry. In this role, you’ll help drive the day-to-day operations of our last-mile rental fleet—partnering with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure vehicles are rentable, utilized, and delivered efficiently. You’ll be at the center of a fast-paced, evolving operation where your ability to problem-solve, coordinate, and execute will directly impact program success and scalability.
Location: Merchants Fleet Headquarters – Hooksett, NH (Hybrid). Typically 1 day per week work from home
What Your Day Looks Like:
You will:
Drive Operational Execution:
Support the end-to-end “rentability” lifecycle of fleet assets to ensure vehicles are ready, available, and utilized
Coordinate key workflows including transportation, vehicle allocation, offboarding, and fleet balancing
Partner with field teams to support operational execution and deliver strong customer service within assigned regions
Assist in DSP (Delivery Service Provider) onboarding and enrollment efforts
Coordinate Across Teams & Vendors:
Collaborate with internal teams to align maintenance, repair, and readiness efforts that support vehicle utilization
Work with third-party vendors (including telematics and mobility partners) to ensure smooth operations
Support title, registration, and compliance-related processes
Support Clients & Daily Operations:
Respond to client and driver support inquiries through systems like Five9, acting as a FleetShare subject matter resource
Monitor operations, identify issues early, and take action to resolve them quickly
Track and manage operational activity across systems and tools
Improve & Scale the Program:
Help identify and document best practices to improve efficiency and consistency across the program
Provide feedback on trends, challenges, and opportunities to enhance service delivery
Support cross-functional initiatives that improve scalability and performance
What You Bring:
Experience :
1+ year of experience in operations, logistics, fleet management, or account support
Experience working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
Exposure to transportation, automotive, or logistics industries is a plus
Education : Associate’s degree required

Comfortable working across multiple systems and data sources

Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Power BI or similar tools is a plus
