You are the engine behind the scenes, ensuring products get from the delivery truck to the correct shelves efficiently. Schedule & Working Environment Dynamic Availability: Retail volumes fluctuate throughout the year. Your shifts will adapt to match inbound delivery volumes and seasonal peak periods. Flexible Hours: You must be open to working non-standard and odd hours (including early mornings or overnights). This ensures our team has the time and space to complete all unloading and shelving safely before customers arrive. Requirements RESPONSIBILITY 1: Receive & Sort Products (Inbound Flow) ★ Safely unload delivery trucks when they arrive at the store . ★ Truck to peg the received goods efficiently and accurately . ★ Actively shelve products, working diligently to ensure the store is perfectly restocked and ready for the customer's arrival ★ Receive and process daily interstore bags arriving from other Decathlon locations, ensuring they are accurately sorted and shelved. ★ Help the planet by sorting cardboard, hangers and waste following our recycling guidelines. RESPONSIBILITY 2: Manage Inventory & Stock Accuracy ★ Perform regular stock counts and control procedures to guarantee our ERP inventory matches physical stock. ★ Actively collaborate with commercial departments to carry out the store's anti-shrinkage action plans, ensuring goods are securely handled and tracked. RESPONSIBILITY 3 : Act for a safe and sustainable environment ★ Always adopt the correct lifting postures and gestures to keep yourself and your teammates safe. ★ Ensure the operability of the equipment and keep your work area and the stockroom clean and tidy. ★ Know and respect the internal safety regulations of the store's receiving area. ★ Adopt a culture of continuous improvement and alerting within my sector.
