We're recruiting on behalf of our client for a Food Safety & Hygiene Technologist to join a dynamic and growing team supporting food manufacturers across the UK. This is a unique opportunity to combine technical expertise with customer-facing responsibilities in a highly varied role. You'll work closely with customers to improve hygiene standards, support compliance, deliver training and provide practical solutions that make a real impact on site performance. No two days are the same. One day you'll be conducting a hygiene audit at a manufacturing facility, the next you'll be delivering training, supporting audit preparation or working alongside commercial colleagues to identify opportunities that enhance customer operations. The Role Food Safety, Compliance & Technical Support Conduct hygiene and compliance audits within food manufacturing environments Carry out chemical usage assessments and site hygiene inspections Deliver customer training on hygiene best practice, chemical safety and product application Support customers with audit preparation and food safety compliance requirements Provide practical recommendations to improve hygiene performance and operational efficiency Keep up to date with relevant legislation, standards and industry developments Customer & Commercial Support Build strong relationships with customers across multiple manufacturing sites Recommend appropriate hygiene solutions based on customer needs Support Key Account Managers with proposals, quotations and presentations Identify opportunities to add value through improved hygiene processes and compliance solutions Coordinate customer visits, service activities and technical support requirements Reporting & Documentation Produce detailed audit reports and compliance documentation Maintain accurate records of customer visits, training activities and audit findings Support the development of customer hygiene management systems and manuals Analyse customer data and trends to identify improvement opportunities About You We're interested in speaking with individuals who have a genuine interest in food safety, hygiene, compliance or technical services within manufacturing environments. You may currently be working as a: Food Safety Technician Hygiene Technologist Quality Technician Technical Assistant Compliance Officer Quality Auditor Graduate Food Technologist Environmental Health Professional You'll Ideally Have Experience within food manufacturing, food safety, hygiene or compliance environments Knowledge of HACCP and food safety principles Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Strong attention to detail and report writing capability A proactive and hands-on approach to problem solving The ability to work independently and manage your own diary A full UK driving licence Desirable Experience Knowledge of BRC, ISO 22000,
