Description
Teleport is an AI Infrastructure Identity Company solving cryptographic identity and infrastructure security. This Forward Deployed Engineer role sits at the intersection of product, engineering, and revenue, working directly with customers like Nasdaq, IBM, and Elastic to ensure successful Teleport deployments, remove roadblocks, and advocate for customer needs to the product and engineering teams.
What You'll Do
• Work directly with customers to understand pain points and remove deployment roadblocks
• Write and fix Infrastructure as Code deployments including Helm charts, Terraform, and Ansible configurations
• Develop workarounds and write Go code to fix bugs and implement small features in open source projects
• Articulate complex customer problems, gather requirements, and make business cases to product and engineering teams for investment
• Solve problems spanning networking, performance, security, and integrations with existing systems
What You Need
• Excellent communication skills
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience such as Terraform, Ansible, or Helm
• Linux systems engineering experience
• Go or Rust programming experience
• Willingness to travel to customer sites
