Description
Roles and Responsibilities GL Accounting & Expense Recording – Accurately record general ledger transactions, including accruals, month-end adjustments, intercompany entries and balance sheet entries. Ensure all transactions are correctly classified, tagged by department, and compliant with internal policies. Month-End Close Activities – Lead and execute the month-end closing process, including monitoring of tasks of other team and ensure timely compliance Account Reconciliation & Analysis – Prepare and reconcile balance sheet and P&L accounts, investigate variances, and provide detailed schedules and insights for management and audit support. Compliance & Internal Controls – Ensure compliance with US GAAP, internal accounting policies, and audit requirements. Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation. Collaboration & Reporting – Work closely with cross-functional teams including Procurement, HR, and FP&A to align entries with budget expectations and provide ad-hoc reporting as needed. Requirements Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA preferred. 3 to 5 years of accounting experience with at least 2 years working with a US based accounting firm as a bookkeeper Background with a US based company is a plus. Strong proficiency in Campfire, NetSuite and QuickBooks Online. Excellent analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines. High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
