General Laborer Job Summary We are hiring General Laborers / Production Workers for a fast-paced industrial facility. This is a labor-intensive role supporting daily operations through manual labor, cleaning, material handling, and equipment use. This is not a forklift-only position. Forklift operation makes up approximately 10% of the role. Candidates must be comfortable performing physical work for the majority of each shift. Pay & Schedule • Must be flexible to work all shifts: • 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM • 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM • 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM • Schedule posted weekly (every Thursday) • Pre-shift meetings begin 10 minutes before shift start Responsibilities • Perform general labor and production support tasks • Sweep, shovel, and maintain clean work areas • Pick up debris and assist with plant upkeep • Operate basic equipment, including a core cutting machine • Handle industrial materials and chemicals safely • Operate a forklift to move materials, pallets, and paper rolls • Read and use a tape measure • Follow all safety and quality procedures • Complete additional tasks as assigned Requirements • Industrial or manufacturing experience required • Previous forklift experience preferred • High School Diploma or GED required • Must be reliable and ready to start immediately • Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment Physical Requirements • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly • Must stand, walk, bend, push, and pull for extended periods • Ability to work in hot, cold, dusty, and dirty environments EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER: Surge is an equal opportunity employer.
