Position Summary: Work You’ll Do: As Global Category Portfolio Leader you will manage a team of category leaders for a portfolio of strategic categories totaling $400M annually globally across the enterprise. You will Prioritize sourcing initiatives based on enterprise value ensuring alignment of category strategies across all Business Units. Drive standardization, leverage global synergies and allocate resources across multiple strategic priorities. Ensure alignment of team objectives with company strategy. Promote collaboration across regions and business units. Influence, coach and develop a team of Category Managers. Set annual objectives and performance expectations. Other activities will include: • Hands On management of key supplier relationships • Leading a handful of key strategic sourcing projects • Conduct executive supplier business reviews so called QBRs (Quarterly Business Reviews) • Conduct and Support negotiations involving critical suppliers. • Escalate and resolve strategic supplier issues. Team: Manage a team of Senior Global Sourcing Managers. Continuously improve sourcing processes and governance. Standardize best practices across categories. Drive adoption of digital procurement tools and analytics. Support procurement transformation initiatives. Basic Qualifications: • Master’s degree in business, Engineering, Degree • 10+ years of progressive strategic sourcing experience in a global multi-Billion dollar manufacturing organization. • Proven success managing multiple global categories exceeding $100M in annual spend. Required competencies, experiences, skills • Demonstrated experience leading organizational transformation. • Strong executive presence and stakeholder management. • Experience influencing senior leadership in matrix organizations. • Extensive supplier negotiation experience with executive-level suppliers. • Advanced analytical, financial and strategic thinking capabilities. • Experience developing and coaching high-performing procurement professionals. • Strong knowledge of procurement digitalization, eSourcing, analytics and AI-enabled procurement. • Fluent English Language skills Preferred Qualifications: Engineering Degree, CPSM or/and MBA is a significant advantage Wer wir sind: Hillenbrand (www.hillenbrand.com) ist ein globales Industrieunternehmen, das hochentwickelte, geschäftskritische Verarbeitungsanlagen und Lösungen für Kunden in über 100 Ländern anbietet.
