Description
Job Title: GTM Engineer (Clay Specialist) Location: Remote Role Type: Full-Time Working Hours: 9AM - 6PM Sydney Time (AEST), Monday to Friday Who Are We? At Reef, we connect elite commercial talent with high-growth companies building world-class operational teams. We work exclusively with the top 3% of candidates and match you with established companies across Australia, New Zealand, the US, and UK who invest seriously in their business infrastructure. We support your integration into these companies by providing you with additional training, admin/HR support, and adding you to our community of high-level professionals. About the Role We're seeking an experienced GTM Engineer to join a fast-growing enterprise SaaS company building out their outbound and revenue operations function. This role sits at the intersection of go-to-market strategy and technical execution: you'll architect lead enrichment workflows, design account scoring models, build signal-based outbound plays, and operationalise the full GTM stack to drive qualified pipeline into the sales team. Clay is the core of this role. You'll be expected to design and ship complex Clay tables that combine multiple data providers, AI agents, and webhook integrations to surface accounts and contacts that match tightly defined ICPs. You'll also connect Clay outputs into the broader stack (sequencers, CRM, Slack, and BI tools) so the sales team has clean, prioritised, contextual data to act on every day. This isn't a list-builder role. You're expected to think like a GTM strategist: understand the buying committee in enterprise SaaS deals, map account hierarchies, identify trigger events that signal buying intent, and translate that thinking into automated workflows that produce measurable pipeline. What success looks like: By the end of month one, you'll have audited the existing GTM stack, identified the highest-leverage workflows to rebuild or ship, and have at least two signal-based plays running in production. By month three, you'll own the inbound and outbound data layer end-to-end, with the SDR and AE teams trusting your enrichment, scoring, and routing logic to drive their daily activity. This role suits operators who get excited about combining GTM thinking with technical craft, want real ownership over revenue infrastructure, and want a seat where their work directly moves pipeline numbers. Requirements Excellent spoken and written English with strong, proactive communication skills (this role requires direct collaboration with sales, marketing, and RevOps stakeholders) 3-5 years hands-on experience in a GTM Engineering, RevOps, or Growth Engineering role Expert-level proficiency in Clay, including complex table architecture, conditional logic, AI columns, custom JavaScript, HTTP API integrations, and waterfall enrichment strategies Deep understanding of enterprise SaaS GTM motions: ICP definition, account-based outbound, buying committee mapping, intent data, and signal-based selling Proven track record building outbound or lead enrichment systems that drove measurable pipeline impact in a B2B SaaS environment Strong working knowledge of the modern GTM stack: Salesforce or HubSpot, Outreach or Salesloft, Apollo, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, 6sense or Bombora, Slack Comfortable writing API calls, working with webhooks, and reading basic JSON and JavaScript to extend Clay's native capabilities Strong diagnostic thinking: ability to look at a leaking funnel and identify whether the issue is data quality, targeting, messaging, or routing logic Understanding of how enrichment and scoring connect to downstream sales activity and pipeline conversion Confident presenting your work and reasoning to senior commercial stakeholders; you can explain why a workflow is built the way it is and defend trade-offs Ability to self-manage documentation, workflow ownership, and stakeholder updates without heavy oversight Availability for ful
