Overview of the Role The Head of Finance Operations leads financial and accounting strategy, planning, reporting, and controls for the organization. This role oversees all finance and accounting operations, ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, and drives continuous process improvements aligned with VBP objectives as an outsourcing services provider. Main responsibilities include: Provide financial insights to both PH and AU leadership to support business decisions. Maintain consistent financial practices, policies, and controls that meet both local and Australian requirements. Oversee accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting. Ensure compliance with Philippine financial reporting standards (PFRS), BIR regulations, SEC requirements, and outsourcing/BPO industry guidelines. Coordinate statutory audits, tax filings, and external financial reviews. Lead annual budgeting and long-term financial planning processes. Monitor actual performance against budget and forecast; recommend corrective actions where necessary. Provide financial guidance on pricing strategies, client proposals, contract negotiations, and cost analysis.  Lead, mentor, and grow high-performing finance and accounting teams. Design, implement, and monitor risk management frameworks and internal control systems. Requirements Graduate of bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field ICAA, CPA license (highly preferred) At least 10 years progressive accounting and finance experience, including senior team leadership Experience in BPO/outsourcing or shared services Exposure to cross-border finance, international reporting, or offshore collaboration Familiarity with Australian GST, BAS, IAS, payroll, and superannuation Advanced proficiency in Xero (certification required).
