Job Opening: Healthcare Recruiter Location:  Remote (South Africa) - Working US Hours (9 am - 5 pm EST) Employment Type:  Full-Time Salary:  Paid in South African Rand (ZAR) Overview We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Recruiter with a strong background in locum and temporary healthcare staffing. The ideal candidate will have experience sourcing and placing healthcare professionals in fast-paced, high-volume environments, with a strong understanding of compliance requirements and urgent staffing needs. Key Responsibilities Source, screen, and recruit qualified healthcare professionals, including nurses, therapists, caregivers, and other clinical staff. Manage high-volume recruitment pipelines and maintain a steady flow of candidates. Coordinate urgent and shift-based placements to meet client staffing requirements. Conduct interviews, reference checks, and candidate assessments. Verify licenses, certifications, credentials, and other compliance requirements. Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment documentation. Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and clients. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and successful placements. Monitor candidate availability and manage scheduling for temporary and locum assignments. Requirements Proven experience in healthcare recruitment, specifically within locum, temporary, or agency staffing. Strong understanding of healthcare staffing processes and compliance requirements. Experience recruiting nurses, therapists, caregivers, or other healthcare professionals. Ability to manage multiple vacancies and urgent placements simultaneously. Excellent sourcing, screening, and interviewing skills. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Proficient in ATS, CRM systems, and standard recruitment tools. Preferred: Experience working with shift-based staffing models. Knowledge of healthcare credentialing and background check processes. Previous agency recruitment experience within the healthcare sector.
