Foxwood Golf Club is seeking a positive minded individual to be part of our dynamic hospitality team. The individual must be energetic, well organized and possess strong communication skills. Summary: The Hospitality Manager is responsible for the management and operations of all aspects and areas of the Food and Beverage service. The Hospitality Manager is also responsible for all aspects of planning, coordinating and execution of activities related to external event bookings including Tournaments, Meetings, Conferences, Receptions and Holiday Parties. Responsibilities: • Lead and support day-to-day hospitality operations. • Recruit, schedule, train, mentor, and motivate hospitality staff. • Foster a positive, professional, and welcoming environment for guests and employees. • Lead banquet, tournament, and event setup and execution. • Oversee league nights and ensure a high level of service during busy operations. • Participate in serving duties and lead by example during service periods. • Manage inventory, ordering, receiving, and cost controls. • Ensure compliance with food safety standards and company policies. • Support the development and ongoing training of staff. • Work toward achieving operational and financial goals. • Maintain compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act and workplace safety procedures. Qualifications: • Passionate about great food and teamwork • Demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to have fun and inspire others. • Self motivated with strong communication and organizational skills. • 5 years relevant experience. • Computer skills (excel, word, explorer). • Safe food handling certificate • Smart Serve Certificate • WHMIS training • First Aid Certification • Joint Health & Safety Committee Level 1 certification Working Conditions: • Bending, lifting, extended periods of standing.
