About the Role
Champions Club is looking for a Housekeeper to join our growing team! The Housekeeper is responsible for taking care of a building’s general cleanliness to provide tidy and sanitary amenities to guests and residents. Their duties include cleaning floors, making beds and dusting surfaces throughout a home or other building.
This is a part-time position, working approximately 20-30 hours per week.
Responsibilities
Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures
Cleaning and sanitizing toilets, showers/bathtubs, countertops, and sinks
Making beds and changing linens
Vacuuming and cleaning carpets and rugs
Sweeping/vacuuming, polishing, and mopping hard floors
Sorting, washing, loading, and unloading laundry
Using any cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and other cleaning tools
Stock and maintain all linens, toiletries, and other supplies frequently
Emptying trash receptacles and disposing of waste
Steaming and cleaning draperies
Washing/cleaning blinds, windows, mirrors and other glass surfaces
Tidying up rooms
Monitoring cleaning supplies and ordering more as needed
Organize all furniture and hotel items to Hotel’s standards
Reporting any necessary repairs or replacements
Assist guest in terms of room preference
Assists other departments and duties when needed to ensure optimum service to guests
Performs additional duties as needed
Experience & Skills
Must be 18 years or older
Prior experience preferred
Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holiday
Ability to address issues in a professional manner through effective interpersonal communication
Ability to adhere to all company policies and the code of conduct
Understands the company’s policy on work shifts, guest’s possessions and privacy issues
Qualities & Preferences
Exemplary time and resource management including good attendance
Ability to maintain peak performance during high stress situations
Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills
This starting pay for this role is $14.00/hr
