Join Our Team: Talent Success Intern The Classic Center | Athens, GA Part-Time Internship | Semester-Based Around 15 hours a week Want a backstage pass to the people side of business? As a Talent Success Intern , you'll gain real-world Human Resources experience while supporting the team responsible for attracting, onboarding, and supporting the employees who make it all happen. If you're interested in Human Resources, Business, Management, Psychology, Hospitality, or Organizational Development, this internship is an opportunity to move beyond the classroom and see how HR works in a fast-paced, professional environment. This internship is designed for students who are receiving academic credit through their college or university. What You'll Do As a Talent Success Intern, you'll get hands-on experience in a variety of HR functions, including: Help Welcome New Team Members • Prepare onboarding packets and employee documentation • Support new hire orientation sessions • Assist with tracking pre-employment requirements such as background checks and screenings Learn the Fundamentals of HR Compliance • Help maintain employee records and personnel files • Assist with HR audits and documentation reviews • Learn about confidentiality, workplace regulations, and compliance standards Explore Payroll & Benefits • Observe how employee information moves through payroll and HR systems • Assist with reviewing personnel documentation for accuracy • Help organize benefits materials and employee resources Support Recruiting Efforts • Assist with posting job and internship opportunities • Help organize resumes and applications • Represent The Classic Center at job fairs and campus recruiting events Get Involved in Employee Programs & Events • Support training sessions, meetings, and employee development programs • Help prepare materials and track attendance • Assist with special initiatives that support employee growth and engagement Take on Meaningful Projects • Update HR forms, templates, and onboarding materials • Organize digital records and data entry projects • Contribute ideas and support projects based on your interests and career goals What You'll Learn This internship is more than administrative work. You'll gain exposure to: • Employee onboarding and HR operations • Workplace compliance and documentation standards • Confidentiality and ethical HR practices • Talent acquisition and recruiting strategies • Payroll and benefits processes • Professional communication and collaboration • Event coordination and employee engagement • Real-world HR systems and workflows What We're Looking For You may be a great fit if you: • Are currently enrolled in a college or university program • Are receiving academic credit for the internship • Have strong organizational and communication skills • Pay attention to details and enjoy staying organized • Can handle confidential information with professionalism The candidate who is selected for this position will have to successfully pass a drug screening and a criminal background check.
