WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
In the role of the ILS Specialist - Technical Publication for BOXER you are responsible for all matters regarding the Interactive Electronic Technical Publication (IETP) of the leading multi-national 8x8 military armoured vehicle programme. At the industry consortium ARTEC, all technical and cross-discipline activities are focused on making a good product even better to protect the future and security of Europe and Worldwide.
Parts of the ILS Specialist role:
• Administrator of the ILS tooling landscape for Interactive Electronic Technical Publication (IETP) of the BOXER programme (i.e. QuILS)
• Fulfilling the publication and delivery process of IETP / AESP
• Coordination of another ILS discipline (e.g. Logistics Support Analysis (LSA), Materiel Management, etc.)
• Coordination of our main subcontractors
• Host and chair review meetings with our customer Nations
• Coordinate activities throughout ARTEC's internal disciplines
• Be responsible for time, cost and quality for IETP activities in BOXER programme
• Continuous improvement of processes and monitoring of KPIs
• Support the logistic configuration process
• Bachelor degree, engineer, technician or comparable qualification
• Experience in customer support and/or defence area, preferable armoured vehicle manufacturer desired
• Experience in one of the logistics main disciplines (technical publication, materiel management or logistics support analysis)
• At least knowledge in S1000D required
• Experience in administration of a Common Source Database (CSDB) acc. to S1000D
• Conceptual understanding of materiel management process (S2000M) advantageous
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to quickly understand and facilitate complex technical relations
• Business fluent in German and English written and spoken
• Strong scheduling / planning skills
• Understanding of database logic (preferably MS Access or ORACLE)
• MIL-STD-1388 knowledge advantageous
