AltaML is a leading North American applied AI company seeking an Information Security Operations Specialist to own daily operational security activities, including SOC2 compliance, AI-powered red teaming, threat monitoring via SIEM, supply chain vulnerability management, and secure enablement of agentic AI platforms. What You'll Do • Maintain SOC2 compliance with 100% continuous adherence across all controls and plan foundational controls for future ISO27001 certification • Plan, configure, and operate automated AI-powered red team programs to uncover vulnerabilities and deliver technical risk documentation • Manage and optimize an AI-supported SIEM platform to minimize detection and response times while reducing false-positive alerts by 20% annually • Proactively monitor, triage, and mitigate CVEs and software supply chain vulnerabilities with 100% critical zero-day assessment within SLA windows • Coordinate security integration within engineering lifecycles and establish governance frameworks for third-party AI platforms connecting to company systems What You Need • 3–5 years of dedicated professional experience in Information Security operations or engineering, ideally in SaaS, cloud-native, or startup environments • Practical familiarity with maintaining or supporting formal security certification programs such as SOC2 or ISO27001 • Strong understanding of cloud computing security, modern SIEM setups, firewalls, data encryption, and identity directories • Hands-on experience securing and navigating MacOS, Linux, and Windows infrastructure • Related technical degree or diploma in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Systems & Network Administration, or equivalent deep practical experience
