They are a remote-first, high-performance team dedicated to deeptech and scientific innovation. Role Overview As the Innovation Funding Manager (Case Manager) , you will be the "conductor of the orchestra" and the operational leader for a growing team of 25+ consultants. This is a critical leadership role focused on operational excellence, quality assurance, and workflow optimization to ensure every case meets the highest "Winning" standards. Key Responsibilities • Operational Leadership: Support and manage a remote, international team of 25+ consultants, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. • Lead Qualification & Allocation: Partner with Business Development to qualify incoming cases and strategically allocate them based on consultant expertise and capacity. • Quality Assurance (QA): Oversee the entire grant writing process from inception to submission, implementing robust QC measures for all deliverables. • Team Development: Drive professional growth through active mentorship, training, and constructive feedback loops. • Process Optimization: Monitor workflows to ensure strict compliance with Horizon Europe requirements and internal best practices. • Hands-on Troubleshooting: Act as the primary "Fixer," stepping in directly to solve technical or narrative roadblocks under tight deadlines. Profile • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in an operational leadership role, with a strong track record in public fundraising, grant writing, or innovation consultancy (Horizon Europe/H2020). • People Management: Proven ability to manage and develop large, distributed teams of high-level professionals. • Strategic Skills: Strong expertise in lead qualification, contract negotiation, and high-level decision-making. • Education: MSc, MBA, or PhD in Business Administration, Management, or a STEM field. • Soft Skills: Flawless organization, detail-obsessed, and resilient under the pressure of EIC funding cycles. • Language: C1/C2 level in English is mandatory.
