Who We Are BowerGroupAsia (BGA) is the premier strategic advisory and government affairs firm supporting the world's leading multinational companies across the Indo-Pacific and Africa. With approximately 250 professionals in 32 markets, BGA advises the world's leading AI, platform, cloud,  semiconductor  and digital infrastructure companies. The Technology team is building a deliberate, data-driven marketing apparatus to nurture leads, convert  prospects  and grow BGA's technology pipeline. This intern will sit at the center of that effort. Position Summary BGA  seeks  a highly motivated intern to join the Technology business development team in Singapore. The intern will work directly with senior members of the Tech BD team, supporting research, client-facing  deliverables  and operational coordination across BGA's largest technology accounts. This is a substantive role designed for a candidate pursuing or holding a graduate degree in international affairs or a related discipline who wants hands-on exposure to technology policy and government affairs across the Indo-Pacific. Responsibilities • Conduct research on technology policy and regulatory developments across the Indo-Pacific, including AI governance, online safety, semiconductors, digital infrastructure,  cybersecurity  and digital trade. • Draft read- aheads , briefing memos and talking points for senior BGA leadership ahead of client and  prospect  meetings. • Support the development of scopes of work,  proposals  and pitch materials. • Contribute to BGA's flagship regional research products, including the State of AI Policy report, the Online Safety Tracker, the AI-Generated Content Labelling Tracker, the Data Center Investment  report  and the Indo-Pacific Forecast. • Track legislative,  regulatory  and political developments across BGA's priority technology markets and synthesize implications for clients. • Attend Singapore-based industry briefings,  events  and association meetings; prepare readouts for the broader team. • Maintain and update Salesforce records, including contacts, account  notes  and engagement history. • Support the Tech BD team on internal coordination, including analyst huddles, weekly team call  agendas  and offsite  logistics . Qualifications • Pursuing or holding a graduate degree in international affairs, public policy, public affairs, area studies,  journalism  or a related field; outstanding undergraduate candidates with equivalent experience considered. • Demonstrated interest in technology policy, the Indo-Pacific region and/or government affairs consulting. • Strong research, analytical and writing skills in English;  proficiency  in an Asian language is a plus. • Comfort managing multiple workstreams under deadline pressure. • Self-motivated, detail- oriented  and collegial; able to take direction from multiple stakeholders. • Authorization to work in Singapore  required . Logistics • Location: Singapore (in-office, hybrid schedule). • Duration: One semester, with potential to extend. • Reports to: Senior  Director,  Technology.
