About The Role This role is part time (4 hours a day) and reports to the IT Manager. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Intern to support our IT team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in gaining hands-on experience in IT support, security, asset management, and user onboarding/offboarding processes. The ideal candidate will be tech-savvy, organized, and eager to learn while contributing to the smooth functioning of our IT infrastructure. Roles & Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: 1. User Onboarding/Offboarding: - Assist with adding/removing new users to platforms such as Google Workspace, Krisp, Zoom, Slack, and LastPass. 2. Inventory and Asset Tracking: - Support the IT team in managing inventory, including tracking hardware and software assets. - Ensure accurate records of IT equipment and licenses. 3. Ticket Management: - Handle IT tickets, including password resets, app installations, and adding/removing users in Slack channels. - Prioritize and route tickets to the appropriate team members (Finance, IT Manager, or self) as needed. 4. Documentation and Knowledge Base Updates: - Assist in creating and updating how-to guides and IT documentation on the Notion IT page. - Ensure all resources are clear, accurate, and accessible for internal users. 5. Administrative Support: - Create shipping labels for IT-related shipments as required. - Provide general administrative assistance to the IT team as needed. What You Offer - Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. - Basic understanding of IT systems and tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom). - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. - Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. - Familiarity with ticketing systems and knowledge base platforms (e.g., Notion) is a plus.
