Avelios is a healthcare software company that digitizes hospital workflows. As an IT System Administrator, you will be responsible for the ongoing development and security of internal IT infrastructure, working at the intersection of IT security, user support, and system administration to ensure stable, secure, and modern operations. What You'll Do • Enhance security for Linux, Windows, Mac, and mobile devices • Support users with security-related questions and IT onboarding • Act as the first point of contact for colleagues with hardware, software, or network issues • Develop and manage backup and recovery solutions • Monitor and optimize system performance, including capacity planning • Create technical documentation for the entire IT environment • Contribute to the development and implementation of security concepts as part of various certifications What You Need • Completed vocational training as an IT specialist or a completed degree in an IT-related field or equivalent • Basic knowledge of network infrastructure and network services • Strong analytical thinking and a structured, precise way of working • High level of innovation, self-initiative, and willingness to learn new technologies • Good communication skills and strong team spirit • Fluent in German and English Nice to Have • Initial experience with Linux, Apple, and Windows systems Monthly meal allowance up to €75, full coverage of Deutschlandticket, Urban Sports Club or subsidized Wellpass membership, bike leasing program, Corporate Benefits discounts, virtual stock option package (VSOP), flexible working hours with trust-based time tracking
