Java developer - Germany • Full-time Company Description Blackbird Collective is an HR organization that helps startups and established companies find employees that match their current needs. We work on freelance and interim recruitment projects for clients based in Germany, most of which are located in Berlin. Job Description At the moment, we are collaborating with a few innovative startups searching for Backend Engineers who could support their existing teams. We continue to gain the majority of our work through recommendations so we are confident that our clients are great employers and offer work on exciting projects in international teams. Qualifications • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in writing backend code • Proven record of developing production-grade software in a team • A passion for writing clean, maintainable, functional, and testable code • Prior experience with Kotlin, or Java development (Developers without prior Kotlin knowledge are welcome and have the flexibility to learn Kotlin at a later stage) • Good command of spoken and written English • Team player and self-starter Nice to have • Familiarity with Serverless, Kotlin, AWS, Terraform, FaunaDB, Redshift • Mobile development experience is welcomed • Prior experience of working in a start-up Additional Information If this sounds like you, get in touch with us!
