Job Description A leading healthcare facility in the UAE is seeking a Consultant / Specialist – Hematologist to join its multidisciplinary medical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with benign and malignant blood disorders while delivering comprehensive, evidence-based hematology care. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and manage a wide range of hematological disorders, including anemia, bleeding and clotting disorders, hemoglobinopathies, leukemia, lymphoma, and multiple myeloma. Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans. Interpret laboratory investigations, bone marrow examinations, and other diagnostic tests. Administer and monitor hematology treatments, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and supportive care where applicable. Collaborate with oncologists, pathologists, transfusion medicine specialists, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. Provide inpatient and outpatient consultations and long-term follow-up care. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with quality and patient safety standards. Participate in clinical audits, research, teaching, and continuous professional development activities. Requirements MBBS or equivalent medical qualification. MD / DM / DNB / MRCP / FRCPath or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Hematology. Relevant clinical experience in Hematology. Strong clinical knowledge in diagnosing and managing hematological disorders. Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
