Responsibilities • Plan, organize, and complete daily work assignments according to production schedules and LYNQ. • Set up, operate, and monitor CNC laser cutting equipment to ensure efficient production. • Review and verify laser programs to ensure parts are being produced accurately and according to specifications. • Inspect completed parts to ensure quality standards and dimensional requirements are met. • Make machine adjustments as needed to maintain production quality and efficiency. • Perform routine machine checks, preventative maintenance, and basic troubleshooting. • Ensure machines are stocked with required materials and consumables. • Maintain communication with team members and leadership regarding production status, quality concerns, and equipment issues. • Assist with resolving day-to-day manufacturing challenges to meet production deadlines. • Cross-train on other fabrication equipment, including CNC press brakes and punch machines. • Support other manufacturing departments when equipment downtime or production demands require. • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment. • Follow all company safety policies and properly utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE). • Perform other duties as assigned to support business and production needs. Qualifications Required Qualifications • High school diploma or GED equivalent. • Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or fabrication environment. • Experience operating CNC laser equipment or similar automated manufacturing machinery preferred. • Strong communication and teamwork skills. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. • Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues. • Ability to read and interpret production documents, work instructions, and part drawings. • Ability to work successfully across multiple departments within the organization. • Self-motivated, dependable, and committed to continuous improvement. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with sheet metal fabrication. • Experience operating CNC press brakes, laser cutters, or punch presses. • Knowledge of manufacturing quality standards and inspection processes. • Familiarity with CNC programming concepts and machine setup procedures.
