Joining us means working with major US clients, guiding them through their AI transformation, and turning potential into performance.     About the role   We're  looking for a  Lead  Application  Engineer  to own the technical delivery of  Appian application development workstreams  —  from solution design and application development through testing  and deployment — working with international clients across a distributed, global delivery environment.   You will drive the technical execution of our low-code application strategy, provide technical leadership on Appian solutions, and  mentor a high-performing team of engineers.     Key Responsibilities     Lead the design, development, and implementation of Appian , ensuring alignment with business requirements, architectural standards, and best practices   Own the technical architecture of complex enterprise applications, driving integration strategies and ensuring scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions   Partner with business stakeholders to analyze complex business challenges, define solution approaches, and oversee delivery throughout the full application lifecycle   Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams , fostering collaboration and ensuring the successful delivery of client-focused solutions   Mentor and develop engineers through coaching, knowledge sharing, code reviews, and technical leadership, helping to build a high-performing delivery team   Establish and promote best practices , development standards, and governance frameworks across Appian and low-code application delivery engagements.   Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and Appian platform capabilities, continuously enhancing service offerings and delivery methodologies.   Lead technical discovery, research, and solution assessments , contributing to proposals, estimates, client recommendations, and strategic deliverables.     Must Have Qualifications   8+ years of experience in application development, including 5+ years o
