Legal Biller (E ‑ Billing Specialist) – Hybrid Role Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Legal Biller with strong e ‑ billing expertise to join our team. This role is essential to ensuring accurate, timely billing for our attorneys and clients, with a focus on electronic submissions through major e ‑ billing platforms. After a successful 90 ‑ day onsite probationary period, this position transitions to a hybrid schedule with four days per week working from home. The ideal candidate has hands ‑ on experience in a law firm billing department, understands the nuances of LEDES formats, billing guidelines, and appeals, and is proficient in Aderant or 3E. Salary: $60,000 – $75,000 Key Responsibilities • Prepare, review, and submit monthly legal invoices through various e ‑ billing platforms • Ensure compliance with client billing guidelines, rate structures, and matter ‑ level requirements • Review prebills, make necessary edits, and coordinate with attorneys on adjustments • Monitor invoice status, resolve rejections, and manage appeals or resubmissions • Maintain accurate billing records, matter setups, and client billing preferences • Collaborate with attorneys, legal assistants, and finance team members to resolve billing discrepancies • Track write ‑ downs, write ‑ offs, and billing adjustments • Assist with month ‑ end billing deadlines and reporting • Support process improvements to enhance billing accuracy and efficiency Qualifications • Required: E ‑ billing experience within a law firm • Required: Proficiency with Aderant or 3E billing software • Experience working with client billing guidelines and compliance requirements • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with attorneys and staff Work Schedule • First 90 days onsite for training and probation • After probation: Hybrid schedule — 4 days per week remote, 1 day onsite Preferred Traits • Proactive problem ‑ solver who can troubleshoot billing rejections • Comfortable navigating complex billing portals • Strong follow ‑ through and ability to manage high ‑ volume billing cycles EB-1927591449
