As we continue to scale internationally, we are seeking a pragmatic, commercially minded Legal Counsel to join us. This role will serve as a vital business partner, driving our commercial deals and safeguarding our global operations. Key Responsibilities Provide legal advice and support on a wide range of commercial agreements, regulatory matters, and corporate governance issues. Lead and manage relationships with external legal advisers and regulators. Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations across key markets including Hong Kong and the UK. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and other legal documents critical to business operations. Support product development by advising on regulatory risks and legal requirements. Manage legal risks and develop policies to promote legal and regulatory compliance within the organisation. Oversee dispute resolution and manage any legal proceedings as necessary. Requirements Qualified lawyer with admission to practice in Hong Kong, the UK, or equivalent jurisdiction. 3+ years of legal experience, preferably within fintech, financial services, or technology sectors. Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks applicable to fintech and payments in Hong Kong and the UK. Proven experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
