Create flawless production experiences that amplify Gallup's voice and influence.
As a live events and studio production specialist at Gallup, you'll deliver exceptional production experiences for executives, clients and distinguished guests through live events, studio productions and meetings that advance Gallup's mission and reputation.
What You’ll Do
Plan, set up, operate and strike audio, video, lighting, presentation and conferencing systems for live events, including executive presentations, client events, town halls and panel discussions
Prepare and operate Gallup’s recording studios, including cameras, microphones, lighting, teleprompters, confidence monitors and recording systems to produce high-quality video content
Conduct technical rehearsals, sound checks and equipment testing to ensure production readiness
Partner with event organizers, presenters, executive assistants, facilities teams, security personnel and production partners to ensure every production runs seamlessly
Monitor live productions and recording sessions, quickly troubleshooting technical issues while maintaining a calm, professional presence
Support hybrid and virtual events using Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and other conferencing and streaming technologies
Perform basic audio and video editing, media management and production file preparation
Maintain production equipment, inventory and documentation while recommending improvements that enhance quality and reliability
Provide guidance to associates using presentation and conferencing technologies

What You Need
Required
Associate degree in audiovisual technology, broadcast production, communications, information technology or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience
At least one year of experience supporting live events, audiovisual systems, broadcast production, recording studios or a related production environment
Experience operating professional audio systems, cameras, lighting, presentation equipment and video conferencing technologies
Working knowledge of signal flow, audio mixing, video routing and production troubleshooting
Experience supporting hybrid meetings, livestreams or virtual events
Ability to lift and safely move audiovisual equipment weighing approximately 50 pounds
A commitment to working on-site at Gallup's Washington, D.C., office at least three days per week, plus additionally based on the event schedule
Eligibility to work in the U.S. required; this position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship
Preferred
Experience supporting executive-level, government, political or other high-visibility events
Experience working in a professional recording, broadcast or podcast studio
Experience with digital audio consoles, video switchers, PTZ cameras, teleprompters and professional lighting systems
Familiarity with streaming, recording and postproduction workflows
Knowledge of Dante, NDI, AV-over-IP or other network-based media technologies
