[What the role is] [LTA-PT] DEPUTY/ASSISTANT MANAGER, PUBLIC TRANSPORT NETWORK SURVEILLANCE [What you will be working on] You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for monitoring and enhancing public transport performance in Singapore, with a focus on bus services. Your key responsibilities include: • Manage outsourced contractors conducting bus and train surveys, including tender preparation, contract administration, and oversight of claims and payments. • Plan, schedule, and oversee surveys, audits and other monitoring initiatives, analyse findings and operational data to produce situation reports, identify trends, issues, and opportunities for bus service improvements. • Gather, analyse, and follow up on feedback relating to bus service performance. • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and assess problematic traffic corridors affecting bus operations, with the aim of improving service reliability. • Drive the exploration and implementation of new initiatives to enhance network‑level bus service performance monitoring capabilities. • Extract, process and analyse bus operational data using SQL and Python to support reporting, trend analysis, and service performance monitoring. • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Reporting Officer. [What we are looking for] • Self-motivated and resourceful, with a meticulous and structured approach to work. • Able to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. • Possess strong communication skills to work effectively with internal/external stakeholders. • Strong analytical skills with experience handling large datasets. • Good working knowledge of SQL and Python, including the ability to write and modify queries and scripts for data extraction, processing, and analysis. • Willingness to conduct fieldwork and support operational activities/events as required.
