Want to become part of us? #shapeandcreate • Designing, maintaining, implementing, or improving electrical instruments, facilities, components, equipment products, or systems for industrial, commercial or domestic purposes. • Operating a variety of standard power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties. • Ensuring that work is in accordance with relevant codes. • Evaluating electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research programs. • Performing a wide variety of electrical maintenance tasks to service, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, install and maintain electrical equipment and machinery. • Conducting preventive maintenance programs and keeping maintenance records. • Providing training and guidance to junior and apprentice electricians as needed. • Reading blueprints or technical diagrams before doing work. • Estimating material, labor, or construction costs for budget preparation. • Keeping abreast of advances in technology and job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications.
