What will you be doing?
Merchant & brand relationships - Set category priorities and personally own the largest, most strategic merchant and brand relationships
Platform / marketplace / affiliate partnerships — Lead strategic platform, marketplace, and affiliate partnerships and shape the supply-side approach
Deal Ownership — Lead complex, high-value, multi-stakeholder commercial deals from strategy to close
Cross Functional work - Align supply-side strategy with product, marketing, and data leadership
Industry thought leadership - represent Glance at industry forums, conferences, round-tables ; be seen as an industry thought leader in the field of AI-Commerce
Key Requirements:
4-7 years in partnerships, BD, sales, or account management
Record of independently closing commercial deals with Japanese companies
Business-level Japanese and English
Comfort operating from a Tokyo-based country team with significant autonomy
Solid working knowledge of Japan e-commerce / retail / digital media
Experience influencing senior internal and external stakeholders
Preferred Requirements:
Experience with EC platforms, marketplaces, or affiliate/ASP networks
Existing relationships with brands/merchants in key categories
Background in mobile, advertising, commerce tech, or startups
