This role is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship* Position Summary The Corporate Development Manager is responsible for supporting Agilysys' long-term growth strategy through pricing optimization, strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate development initiatives. This role combines financial analysis, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration to evaluate business opportunities, drive informed decision-making, and help maximize shareholder value. The position partners closely with Product Management, Sales, Operations, Finance, and executive leadership to influence key business strategies and initiatives Why This Role Matters As Agilysys continues to expand its market presence and product portfolio, the Corporate Development Manager plays a critical role in identifying and evaluating opportunities that drive sustainable growth. This individual helps shape pricing strategies, supports long-range planning, assesses acquisition opportunities, and provides the analytical insights needed to guide strategic decisions. The role serves as a key bridge between data-driven analysis and business execution, ensuring that growth initiatives align with company objectives and create long-term value. Key Responsibilities Lead financial and strategic analyses to support corporate development initiatives, investments, potential acquisitions, and other strategic transactions. Develop financial models, valuation analyses, and business cases to support executive decision-making. Partner with Product Management, Sales, and leadership teams to develop, evaluate, and implement pricing strategies. Collaborate with Operations and other internal stakeholders to ensure pricing recommendations can be effectively executed. Support multi-year planning, forecasting, and strategic business planning processes. Monitor industry trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging market opportunities to identify areas for growth. Identify and evaluate acquisition targets, strategic partnerships, and investment opportunities. Lead and coordinate due diligence activities across functional teams including Finance, Legal, HR, Operations, and Engineering. Support merger integration planning and execution to ensure successful realization of business objectives. Develop and maintain relationships with external advisors, investment bankers, consultants, and industry partners.
