About the role We’re   seeking a Manager, Corporate Finance to guide our strategic investments and help shape the financial future of our major infrastructure projects. You’ll   join an innovative team who is passionate about applying  c ustomer- f ocused   t hinking and forward-looking financial strategies to deliver infrastructure that connects communities and keeps our cities moving.   It’s   meaningful, challenging, and highly impactful work. Day-to-day, you will: • Develop valuation and financial insights that   assist   the Group with strategic investment decision making • Undertake and review analysis of impacts that potential investments have on corporate metrics, including equity raising requirements, DPS forecasts, group liquidity, balance sheet   metrics   and credit rating metrics • Support the preparation of Board papers and papers for Executives • Prepar e and   maintain   valuation   and   financial models to support Group investments • Work with external financial model auditors • Provide financial analysis support for financing activities • Prepare and review project implementation   plans and post implementation reviews • Undertake analysis in relation to the Group’s take-over defence strategy • Preparation of Capital Strategy and Board Strategy papers • Preparation of valuation financial models to support Group investments • Advise on   appropriate valuations   and valuation inputs, including cost of capital and key economic and financial inputs • Development and maintenance of   part of the suite of   consolidated   corporate financial model s   for the Group, ensuring   this   is updated and audited   in accordance with   internal and regulatory requirements • Support   the semi-annual ARA (Asset Recoverable Amount) process   required   for each of the Group’s assets, for input to the preparation of the Group’s financial statements and regulatory requirements • Provide financial analysis support for the financing activities undertaken across the Group • Prepare and review project implementation plans and post implementation reviews • Support relevant stakeholders through strategic analysis and valuation support • Present or discuss key issues and recommendations with key stakeholders as   required • Build sound relationships and actively engage with internal and external stakeholders This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including: • Strong Corporate Finance experience • Background in Infrastructure and exposure to M&A transactions / deals are highly desirable • Ability to develop and   maintain   complex   Excel-based   financial models • A bility to a pply   commercial acumen,   problem solving   and critical thinking   in a fast-paced, analytical environment • Strong communication   and presentation skills, with   the   ability to present ideas,   findings   and recommendations in a clear and engaging way   to senior stakeholders • Adaptability and resilience • A knack for  r elationship   b uilding   and   c ollaborative   d elivery • Appropriate tertiary education and professional qualifications If you meet some of these requirements, but not all, we encourage you to   submit   your application.
