A Snapshot of Your Day
In this challenging and future-oriented role, you will serve as the Team Lead for a global Assembly Tools & Lifting team. You will lead a team of engineers in 3 countries, ensuring that the specific requirements for the design of assembly and lifting tools for all turbo compressor product lines are met.
This position o?ers you the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and make a significant contribution to the advancement of our assembly and lifting technologies.
How You’ll Make an Impact
• Lead and coordinate the team for project and order execution in the field of assembly and lifting tools for all turbo compressor products in SE portfolio.
• Own the execution process by ongoing monitoring of the project status (on-time delivery, budgets, technical clarifications) and identification of improvements, while maintaining high quality through root cause analyses, implementation of corrective and preventive actions
• Serve as the central contact for various departments within the global organization, providing support to Bid Management, Development, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Assembly on our sites and Fieldservice
• Actively work on improvement of our design standards and software tools, acting as main stakeholder focusing on harmonization and flexibilization across various products, while meeting requirements and quality and increasing efficiency.
• Cultivate a highly functional team environment that drives individual development through challenging assignments and feedback and spearhead global collaboration across the organization while role modeling best practices
• Live core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the company
What You Bring
• Profound engineering experience, including at least 5 years within the product, with initial leadership experience, ideally in Engineering or R&D
• Strong ownership mindset, commitment to Zero Harm culture and the ability to challenge the status quo while driving continuous improvement initiatives
• Strong understanding of execution and assembly processes, with the ability to organize and manage multiple tasks and projects
• Open to new ideas and innovative approaches, with a focus on future-proofing the organization, combined with excellent communication skills and a collaborative, global team-player mindset
• Experience with international industry standards and regulations, including API, Machinery Directive, ASTM, EN/DIN, NORSOK and DNV.
• Hands-on experience with engineering and business software including NX, Teamcenter, SAP and Jira
