About the role The Manager, People Data & Analytics is a champion for insights generation and analytics within Chanel’s People & Organisation function. The role centres on uncovering business-relevant insights, translating data into impactful stories, and enabling data-driven decision making. The incumbent leverages strong analytical and visualization skills to support stakeholders with actionable intelligence and   facilitate   a culture of curiosity and continuous improvement. The impact you can create at CHANEL Business Insights & Decision Support • Lead and execute data analysis projects, focusing on generating actionable insights that support strategic people decisions. • Explore datasets across domains and markets to   identify   patterns, trends, and key performance drivers using advanced analytics tools. • Translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives that drive stakeholder understanding and engagement. • Support storytelling and decision making by combining quantitative analysis with qualitative context. Dashboarding & Analytics Visualization • Design and   maintain   intuitive dashboards, ensuring visualizations are clear, relevant, and support business conversations. • Develop semantic models that accurately reflect business logic and enable nuanced KPI tracking. • Provide ongoing support and enhancements to analytics products, prioritizing   usability   and stakeholder feedback. Continuous Improvement and Capability Building • Track adoption and business impact of analytics solutions, using feedback to refine and improve data products. • Develop and   maintain   documentation of KPI dictionaries, analytics standards, and business logic for accessibility and clarity. • Champion analytics literacy and foster a data-driven culture within the People & Organisation function. • Ensure compliance with data governance, quality, and other applicable standards. Documentation & Communication • Maintain clear, accessible documentation of data sources, definitions, and dashboard specifications. • Communicate updates, insights, and changes proactively to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and engagement. What You Will Bring • Bachelor’s or   Master’s   degree in Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Business Intelligence, HR Analytics, or a related field. • Extensive   hands-on experience in people analytics, business intelligence, or workforce insights generation. • Proven ability to design and execute advanced analytics projects, including hypothesis-driven analyses and the testing of business-relevant questions. • Hands-on e xperience with Python or R for statistical analysis and   modeling   is highly valued. • Expertise   in turning raw data into actionable insights, using both descriptive and diagnostic analytics to uncover patterns, trends, and performance drivers. • Demonstrated experience in communicating findings, crafting compelling data stories, and engaging stakeholders for business impact. • Familiarity with predictive   modeling , experimentation (A/B testing), and scenario analysis to support evidence-based recommendations. • P roficiency   in Power BI, Tableau, Excel (including pivot tables), and SQL for data exploration, visualization, and insight generation. • Experience working with HR data, processes, and systems (Workday, HR Data Warehouse, etc.) is an advantage. • Experience in a Global matrix organisation and managing within a complex ecosystem   is an advantage. • Passion for enabling a data-driven culture and building analytics capability within teams. C APABILITIES REQUIRED • Advanced skills in dashboarding and   visualisation   tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) to create,   maintain , and enhance data products focused on business relevance and insights. • Strong   proficiency   in   Microsoft Fabric,   SQL for extracting, transforming, and analy s ing data to uncover patterns, trends, and support hypothesis-driven inquiries. • Strong   knowledge of Python and/or   PySpark   to support large-scale data analysis and experimentation. • Ability to design clear, impactful visuali s ations that enable storytelling and decision-making for diverse stakeholders. • Experience applying analytic methods such as hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and scenario   modeling   to address business questions and evaluate outcomes. • Committed to   maintaining   comprehensive documentation of data sources, definitions, business logic, and key metrics for transparency and clarity. • Skilled at translating raw data into actionable insights and recommendations, bridging technical analysis with organizational needs. • Familiarity with Databricks notebooks or similar environments for workflow management and collaborative analytics.
