Description
Anduril Industries is a defense technology company developing advanced military systems powered by Lattice OS. The Voyager team seeks a Manufacturing, Quality & Test Engineer to join the Dublin Quality & Test team, responsible for testing systems to stringent standards, ensuring product quality and production throughput, and developing creative solutions for testing automation and data analytics.
What You'll Do
• Develop and maintain advanced LabVIEW applications for production testing solutions and interface them with SQL and Linux databases for data storage and retrieval
• Configure and manage Linux-based servers for hardware test applications, interface with devices using serial communication protocols, and provide technical support for LabVIEW, SQL, Linux, and electronics issues
• Perform advanced Python programming for automation and scripting, microcontroller programming, and support failure analysis with Design, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineering teams
• Analyze test data, document results, and provide detailed reports to identify defects; collaborate with design engineers on product enhancements based on test outcomes
• Optimize test strategies for efficiency and effectiveness, support continuous improvement initiatives, and contribute feedback to early-stage test design for new products
What You Need
• Minimum Level 6 Qualification in Computer Science or Electronics Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Proven experience in LabVIEW development for 5+ years and extensive experience with Linux-based systems and administration
• In-depth knowledge of high-speed serial communication protocols and networks, microcontroller programming experience, and familiarity with SQL database management
• Strong Python programming skills for automation and scripting, excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, and effective communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with production test fixture commissioning and ability to analyze production test results
Nice to Have
• Background in electronics, experience with CISCO routers and switches, SPC analysis and GR&R studies familiarity
• Software revision control using Git, AWS services experience such as RDS and EC2, familiarity with PLM systems, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and Test Execution Systems (TES)
