DoorDash Labs is an independent team within DoorDash focused on robotics and automation for last-mile logistics. As a Maps Specialist, you will curate and annotate high-definition maps used by autonomous delivery robots, including features such as lane geometry, junction locations, and traffic lights, to enable robot deployment across neighborhoods and cities. What You'll Do • Execute map curation and annotation tasks for assigned zones using in-house tooling • Annotate real-world features into maps including lane geometry, junction locations, and traffic lights • Maintain high quality standards to minimize additional reviews and fixes • Suggest improvements to tooling and identify opportunities for automation to increase efficiency • Collaborate with other map curators to review work and deliver maps in a timely manner What You Need • Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of industry experience • Proficiency with issue tracking software such as Jira • Exceptional analytical skills • Proven ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across functional teams • Track record of delivering high-quality work with minimal supervision • Must be located in Hyderabad, India Nice to Have • Familiarity with Linux and command line interfaces • Experience with version control tools such as Git and ability to run basic commands and workflows • Experience with image and vector editing tools like Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator • Experience with GIS tools like QGIS or ArcGIS
