Primary Goal Grow the marketplaces (Walmart, eBay, Wayfair, THD and Lowe’s) account by improving product listings, expanding the catalog, increasing conversion, and identifying new sales opportunities. About the Role We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Marketplace Catalog & Growth Specialist to help manage and grow our marketplace business. This person will own day-to-day catalog optimization and support the growth of our product portfolio. The ideal candidate has strong marketplace experience, excellent attention to detail, and knows how to turn product data and marketplace templates into improved listings and sales. Key Responsibilities 1. Product Listing Management Create, update, and optimize Walmart and other marketplace product listings. Write compelling, keyword-focused titles, descriptions, and key features. Optimize product attributes, categories, variations, and other catalog fields. Ensure listings are accurate, complete, and compliant with marketplace requirements. Identify and correct suppressed, unpublished, or problematic listings. Monitor product content and make improvements based on performance. 2. Catalog Expansion Research potential new products and product variations. Identify opportunities to expand existing product lines. Research competitors, pricing, keywords, reviews, and product positioning. Help prioritize products with the strongest sales potential. Assist with new product setup and launch. 3. Listing Performance & Conversion Optimization Monitor impressions, clicks, conversion rates, sales, and other relevant metrics. Identify underperforming listings and recommend improvements. Test different titles, content, images, and positioning where appropriate. Review customer feedback and competitor listings for optimization opportunities. 4. Marketplace Management Maintain accurate product information across marketplaces. Monitor catalog errors and marketplace notifications. Troubleshoot listing and content issues. Coordinate with marketplace support when issues cannot be resolved internally. Maintain organized records of catalog changes and outstanding issues. 5. Competitive & Market Research Monitor competitors and comparable products. Track pricing and promotions. Identify gaps in competitor offerings. Research marketplace trends and potential product opportunities. Provide weekly recommendations for account growth. KPIs The specialist will be evaluated based on: Number of listings successfully created or optimized Listing error/suppression resolution rate Catalog accuracy Listing conversion-rate improvements Organic traffic/impression growth New product opportunities identified New products successfully launched Sales growth attributable to catalog improvements Completion of assigned tasks on time Required Skills Minimum 3 years of marketplace experience Experience with Walmart Marketplace / Walmart Seller Center Experience with The Home Depot marketplace is preferred Strong understanding of ecommerce product listings Excellent written English Strong attention to detail Basic keyword research and SEO knowledge Experience with Excel or Google Sheets Ability to analyze basic marketplace data Strong research skills Excellent organizational and time-management skills Ability to follow SOPs and consistently document work Preferred Qualifications Experience managing marketplace catalogs across multiple platforms such as Walmart, The Home Depot, eBay, Wayfair, or Lowe’s Experience with catalog/listing errors and troubleshooting Experience with product research and marketplace expansion Experience using tools for keyword, competitor, or product research Experience with Rithum or CommerceHub is a plus Experience with high-volume SKU catalogs is a plus, but 500+ SKUs is not a requirement
