You will serve as a MATERIALS HANDLER in the MATERIAL READINESS BRANCH of MARINE CORPS BASE QUANTICO. You will be responsible for the up-keep and maintenance of warehousing equipment and oversee daily operations of the warehouse. You will be responsible for operating warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery. You will perform a variety of technical support duties related to maintaining property accounts and records, completing individual transactions, screening reference files, conducting data searches, and distributing output files. You will resolve problems by applying regulations and precedent actions, and other general guidelines. You will monitor, review shipping/delivery documents, and assist in the delivery of materials for the command and command-based customers, who have requested materials. You will assist in unloading/loading incoming and outgoing shipments delivered or shipped to sources of supply/vendors; verifies, reviews, and signs the accompanying documents for accuracy. You will prepare reports for supply discrepancies reflecting findings and corrective actions.
