Job Summary We are seeking experienced Mechanical Technicians with hands-on experience in Thermal Power Plants for a long-term assignment in Saudi Arabia. The candidate will be responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of mechanical equipment to ensure safe and reliable plant operations. Key Responsibilities Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities on thermal power plant equipment. Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair rotating and stationary equipment such as pumps, compressors, turbines, blowers, valves, gearboxes, and conveyors. Carry out equipment alignment, bearing replacement, vibration checks, and mechanical overhauls. Execute maintenance activities during plant shutdowns and turnaround projects. Monitor equipment performance and identify potential issues to minimize downtime. Read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, maintenance manuals, and technical specifications. Ensure compliance with plant safety procedures, permit-to-work systems, and HSE regulations. Maintain maintenance records and prepare reports on completed work. Coordinate with supervisors and operations teams to ensure smooth plant operations. Assist in commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems when required. Requirements Education ITI in Mechanical Trade or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Experience Minimum 3–8 years of experience in Thermal Power Plants. Experience in maintenance of boilers, turbines, pumps, compressors, fans, conveyors, and auxiliary systems. Familiarity with preventive and corrective maintenance practices. Experience in shutdown and turnaround maintenance activities is preferred.
