Position Overview — NDT Inspector We’re looking for an NDT Inspector to support our expanding portfolio of infrastructure projects. In this role, you’ll play an essential part in ensuring quality, durability, and compliance across field inspections, testing, and project execution. What You’ll Do Technical & Field Inspection • Perform UT and MT inspections on various materials and equipment • Interpret test results and document findings • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to resolve issues • Submit daily inspection reports within <24 hours • Maintain 90%+ completion of all assigned safety training • Target zero avoidable safety or equipment incidents • Submit 98% of draft reports within 8 hours — with minimal revisions • Maintain 95% on-time site check-in/check-out • Less than 1 serious issue per quarter related to Inspections, Measuring, and Test Equipment due to technician error, lack of maintenance, or lost/damaged equipment Documentation & Quality Records • Maintain accurate inspection records using AEIS digital reporting tools • Review and verify technical documents (e.g., WPS/PQR , lab results, etc.) Collaboration & Continuous Improvement • Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and QA/QC Specialists • Contribute to lessons-learned discussions and workflow improvements What We're Looking For Must Haves • UT (Ultrasonic Testing - Shear Wave) and MT (Magnetic Testing) Level  2 certifications • 1-10 years in NDT inspection (UT, MT) • OSHA 30 Construction Safety Training (or ability to obtain) • Strong communication and attention to detail • Willingness to travel to project sites Bonus Points • AWS CWI or ICC Bolting certifications • Experience with public infrastructure projects • Familiarity with structural steel construction practices Why This Role Stands Out • Direct collaboration with AEIS Metallurgy & NDT Labs • Access to internal certification programs • Work alongside PEs, senior inspectors, and technical experts • Competitive pay aligned with certifications & experience • Clear growth pathway to QA Lead and Technical Specialist • Supportive, inclusive, and professional team culture Salary Range: $25-35/hour This range is based on national market data and may vary widely by experience and location.
