Department NUTRITION SERVICES - 208052 Worker Sub Type Regular Work Shift First Shift (Vereinigte Staaten) Pay Range $17.51 - $21.02 Job Description Retail Cook is responsible for preparing and/or building food items while providing excellent customer service and adhering to food safety, food handling and sanitation procedures. Responsibilities include: • Prepare and build food items according to standardized recipes and directions • Properly store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures • Sets up work stations including prep tables, service counters, hot well, stem tables, etc. • Break down, clean and sanitize work station • Serve food to customers while ensuring guest satisfaction and anticipating the customer needs • Replenishes food items and ensure product stocked to appropriate levels • Maintains excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guest, customers, clients, co-workers, etc. • Adheres to safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation • Ensures security of company assets Education High School Diploma or GED preferred Previous food service experience preferred Certification & Licensures Food safety certification preferred Qualifications Excellent customer service skills required Strong communication skills required Attention to details required FLSA Classification Non-exempt Physical Demands 8 A Dietary Benefits At Valley Health, we believe everyone is a caregiver, and our goal is to create an environment where our caregivers thrive physically, financially, and emotionally.
