Description
Lavendo partners with startups and high‑growth companies to help them hire top‑tier sales, GTM, and technical talent. This role is with one of our clients; we’ll share full details about the company and interview process as we get to know you and confirm mutual fit. ABOUT THE COMPANY Our client is a fast-growing AI-native software company automating the manual back-office work that slows down logistics operators — order entry, quoting, appointment setting, load tracking, document processing. Based in SF with a second hub in NYC, the team has scaled into a well-funded, fast-moving org backed by $50M from General Catalyst, Bain Capital Ventures, Bessemer, and Activant Capital. The team includes operators from Google, DoorDash, Rippling, Scale AI, and Microsoft — and revenue has grown 700% in two years. THE MISSION Logistics runs on manual, repetitive work — and it's a $12 trillion market. Our client is building the AI layer that automates the busywork and is on track to define what AI-native logistics software looks like at scale. THE OPPORTUNITY This is the first dedicated growth hire — a seat inside the Office of the CEO with direct executive access from day one. You won't be buried three layers deep in a marketing org; you'll own growth end-to-end and help shape how the company scales toward a $10B+ outcome. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Own growth strategy across outbound, SEO, paid, affiliates, website conversion, and channels that don't exist yet - Build the tracking and attribution infrastructure to prove what's actually working - Run a high volume of experiments — fast, rigorously, and with a bias to ship - Turn what works into repeatable, automated growth engines - Partner with engineering, product, sales, and ops on the projects that move revenue - Solve open-ended distribution problems — from expanding TAM to testing new GTM models WHAT YOU BRING - 2–6 years in growth, strategy, or consulting — MBB or top-tier pedigree strongly preferred - A clear growth spike on your resume (you've driven growth outcomes, not just supported them) - Startup experience (Seed–Series B) is preferred - A degree from a top-tier university is preferred - Genuine excitement for high visibility and direct executive access — this is Office of the CEO, not a standard marketing seat - Comfort with in-office intensity (SF or NYC, 5 days/week, 50–60 hour weeks) - US citizen or Green Card holder (no visa sponsorship available) KEY SUCCESS DRIVERS - Bold, proven ideas — a real example of a creative strategy that moved a real metric, not a textbook playbook - High agency in ambiguity — you build the plan when there isn't one - Upward trajectory — consistent promotions, not years in the same seat - Speed and volume — you ship experiments constantly and learn fast - Energy for intensity — you want to be in the room, in person, with the people making the calls WHY JOIN? - Direct CEO access — real influence from day one, not buried in the org chart - True ownership — first growth hire, full-stack control of the function across every channel - Rocket-ship trajectory — 700% YoY revenue growth, $50M raised, targeting a $10B+ outcome in a $12T market - Elite peer group — colleagues from Google, DoorDash, Rippling, Scale AI, and Microsoft - Built-in career acceleration — this seat is designed to evolve into leading a growth team, chief of staff, or another leadership track as the company scales toward IPO - Strong comp — $160K–$205K base plus competitive equity - Full flexibility — flexible PTO and a benefits package that actually covers you: medical, vision, dental, life, accidental, and short-term disability - Set up to thrive — 401(k), a yearly learning and development stipend, and stipends for your commute, home office, and late nights in the office - In-person energy — daily catered lunches, monthly happy hours, and annual offsi
