Internationally, the Firm has offices in Bangalore and Haryana in India and the Ivory Coast in Africa.Think you have what it takesThe Senior Staff Accountant is responsible for supporting accounting operations for US-based clients, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with US GAAP. This role involves preparing financial statements, managing reconciliations, and assisting with month-end and year-end processes while maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.RequirementsHow Youll Contribute:Manage full-cycle bookkeeping in QuickBooks (Online and Desktop), Tipalti, Bill.com, Business Central and NetSuiteRecord and reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, loans, and intercompany activityMaintain accounts payable in Accounting Software, including Bill.com integration and reconciliationHandle vendor compliance activities, including preparation and maintenance of W-9s and processing of 1099s and related filingsPost routine journal entries accurately i.e., Accruals, Prepaid Etc. Payroll accounting and reconciliationPerform and revie sales invoice generations & revenue recognitionFixed Assets accountingPrepare Balance sheet reconciliationsSupport month/year end closes. Prepare compiled non-disclosure financial statementsExecute basic Excel functions for data analysis and reportingEnsure compliance with US GAAP and fundamental accounting principles (debits/credits)Partner with client teams and internal staff to deliver accurate and timely reportingLeverage AI-powered tools such as Basis to automate bank transaction coding, account reconciliations, and related finance processes, improving accuracy, efficiency, and controlMentor team member on US accounting practices.What Skills Youll Bring:Master or Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance; Minimum 4-7 years of relevant experienceExperience with US-based clients and QuickBooksStrong understanding of US GAAP and accounting principlesProficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft ExcelExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamHow Youll Stand OutStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsBenefitsWork-Life BalancePeople First CompanyHybrid work policyWorking directly with peers in the USWe embrace authenticity.
